KEYNOTE SPEAKER & CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

Sam is a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, combat veteran, and entrepreneur dedicated to building leaders, high-performing teams, and resilient cultures. In 2005, while working with Special Operations, he survived an ambush in Iraq that led to more than 50 surgeries and the eventual amputation of his left hand—an ordeal that forged his lifelong mission to turn adversity into action.

After retiring from service, Sam worked in leadership and cultural development, serving hundreds of teams. He has partnered with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the NFL, NCAA, and Olympic athletes, teaching leaders how to stay mission-focused, hold one another accountable, and build cultures of trust.

Sam is a decorated adaptive athlete and a high-altitude mountaineer who has summited some of the world’s highest peaks. He became a national-level triathlete, made U.S. national teams, and finished the 2010 IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, HI. He later raced across America by bicycle—from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD—in RAAM, one of the toughest endurance events in the world.

Beyond consulting, Sam co-owns F45 Training in West Palm Beach, FL, where he channels his passion for team development into community spaces. He also coaches endurance athletes (HYROX and beyond) through Team Martis. Sam is currently writing his first book, Unbreakable Mind, blending military experience, mindset training, and leadership principles into a practical framework for resilience and growth.
